August Dave Brown, A.K. Best, and I were barreling down an old, wet logging
road in the mountains of British Columbia, on our way to a cutthroat trout
stream, going faster than you'd thing you'd want to through slick mud, standing
puddles, and jumbled rocks. We'd been barreling for an hour without seeing
