The Lodging
The best way to describe the accommodations
is "stylishly
rustic" each cabin features private bathrooms
and can accommodate two anglers, the total capacity
of the Lodge is 8 guests which makes it perfect
for a corporate retreat and most importantly personalized
service!
The dinning experience at the Anchor "B" Ranch is
outstanding; guests will enjoy family style dinning
featuring the ranch's own Black Angus Beef, Continuous
cocktails and an extensive selection of wines round
out the experience
Best of all, the lodge works on fisherman's
hours, meals and cocktail are based on current
fishing conditions, as opposed to what is convenient
for the lodge staff.
The Fly Fishing Experience
Located in the heart of the best world class
Trout Streams in The Canadian Rockies, we easily
access a variety of rivers including the Oldman, Livingstone, Croswsnest, Highwood,
Waterton and Castle Rivers, and British Columbia's
Elk River is a scenic one hour drive away !
The river's vary from Alpine Cutthroat streams,
medium sized Foot hill Rainbow and Brown Trout
waters and Prairie Tail water rivers along with
the variety of rivers and streams, we are able
to target 4 species of trout
Including, Brown, Cutthroat, Bull and Rainbow,
not to mention Cuttbows.
All the Rivers are perfectly suited to dry fly
fishing which is our preferred method, sorry no
indicators!!!

Lodge in the Canadian Rockies. The staff have
years of experience in the hospitality field and

cater to small groups so that you are ensured personable

Dave Brown Outfitters has been operating in
Southern Alberta since 1988, we are the only full
time Guide Service in the area, and many of our
staff guide in Chile in our off season, this
level of professionalism, coupled with our knowledge
of the sport of Fly fishing and our support Administrative
team helps ensure your trip will be a success

The closest Airport is Calgary Alberta, (YYC)
most airlines have direct flights to there
from Calgary the Anchor "B" Ranch Fly fishing
Lodge is a very scenic two hour drive south
Other Waters
We suggest spending a few days on the Bow River
before or after.
