The Elk River near Fernie British Columbia continues to fish excellent.Hoppers and Ants have been producing ,Flavs and October Caddis have also been racking up the numbers.Mid River structure has shaped up.Overall The Elk River is fishing great.

The Bow River continues to fish great.Hopper fishing is the norm,Trico’s and Caddis are also hatching.

All Rivers continue to drop to near normal flows and are fishing good-great.Hopper fishing is the norm.Streamer fishing is also producing some great rewards.Here on The Elk River we are also seeing some Flavs and October Caddis.

Things are looking up on The Elk River ..including the trout.The Elk River is getting juicer by the day and the Cutty’s are all over Hoppers,Ants ,Flavs and a few Caddis.If Dry Fly fishing is your bag then put The Elk River on your radar screen.

The Bow and Elk Rivers continue to drop and clear.Both are fishing well on top.During non-hatch periods streamer fishing remains awesome.S.W. Alberta Rivers are also fishing good.Lots of Hoppers out there ..more fun times are just around the corner.

The Elk River continues to drop and clear.Dry Fly fishing is becoming more consistent as the water recedes and more structure is exposed.Hatches include Golden Stones,Yellow Sallies,P.M.D.’s ,Green Drakes and Caddis.The Tributaries are also fishing great.
Bow River Rainbow
The Bow River is dropping fast and the fly-fishing for brown and rainbow trout is off the charts.Fishing big chernobyl Ants is the norm.Streamer fishing has also been very good..get here now!
The Elk River near Fernie British Columbia continues to drop and clear.We have 12 inches of visibility and clearing as I type.The tribs are are down and fishing well.Dry Fly fishing is starting to pick up and should be epic by the weekend.The Bow River is also dropping fast and browns and rainbows are eating stonefly imitations on top ..get here soon.

The Elk River and it’s tributaries are dropping fast and clearing.The Elk River is fishable with about 8 inches of visibility.Most of The small streams are clear.Over in Alberta the same holds true.Small tributaries are clear and main rivers are clearing and dropping.Fly-fishing enthusiasts should checkout The Crowsnest and Oldman Rivers.Fly-Fishing In Alberta and in S.E. British Columbia has been decent and will only get better.

The Bow River is dropping fast – Our guess is it is two weeks away from being fishable . The Elk River is also dropping fast and should be good to go in about a week .There are some rivers in S.W. Alberta that are fishing already and we have trips going out on them .August is going to be great and we are filling up fast Book Now !
