I was part of a group of anglers who booked to fish southeast British Columbia with Dave Brown Outfitters. Because of wildfires in the area, almost all of the fishable water was closed. Even with this, Dave was able to get us on the rivers that were open and we all had a great time. Everyone caught great fish every day and learned a lot from the guides! We are hoping to return next year! Bravo, Dave! Thanks for making our trip such a success, despite numerous surprises from mother nature.
Fished 2 days on lower Bow fw Gavin from DBO. Great communication and effort and tough but successful fishing.
I had an amazing day with Dave brown Outfitters and our guide Chris Dawson on the Elk. We had some health issues with my father on the trip and this was dealt with skillfully and professionally. Highly recommended!!
This was my third trip on the Elk with Dave Brown Outfitters, and as in previous visits, Dave and his guides did not disappoint. Although the conditions were tougher this year due to very hot weather and smoke from fires in the mountains, our guides worked hard and got us into fish. Andres Gonzalez and Greg Leech both really know the river, and are very professional, patient and enjoyable to fish with. Nothing beats taking a Westslope cuttie on a dry fly, and the river is just gorgeous! The various float sections provide a good variety of water types, so you are not floating the same water day after day. I highly recommend Dave Brown’s operation. I’ll be back again soon for another go at those beautiful cutthroats.
