Tex points a Sharptail -Montana
Fall has finally arrived on The Prairies of Montana and Saskatchewan. With The cooler temperatures comes better scenting conditions for our Bird Dogs and lots of Waterfowl that have dropped down from the Arctic. The results are some great pointing dog work and stellar Waterfowl Hunts.

We are enjoying it and it’s safe to say so are our Clients that have made the trek North. Here in Saskatchewan The Upland Bird hunting has been decent Sharptail Numbers are good while Huns are decent but spotty. The Waterfowl Hunting on the days it all comes together has been epic. For the most part Sandhill Cranes and Speckle Belly Geese have been the name of the game. As October progresses so does the fun as more and more Waterfowl pour into the zone and more wheat fields get harvested aiding in the Upland Bird Hunts.Another bonus will be The Montana Pheasant Season opener which we are stoked for as Pheasant numbers are very good. Scroll down and have a look at the pics.
