A Waterton River Hook Up

The  South West corner of The Province of Alberta is a Fly-fisher’s dream. River’s range from small Alpine freestones that are home to Cutthroats and Bull Trout to obscure Prairre Tailwater fisheries that harbor large rainbow and brown trout.  This is an easy destination to get to as many U.S. Cities have direct flights in and out of Calgary Alberta. Of course the big draw is the Bow River and for good reason, its renown as a big fish river with above average sized rainbows and browns and Anglers can easily spend 3 days fishing this river then Two hours south of Calgary lies the already mentioned multitude of rivers that you can spend a lifetime fishing and fish them all. Visiting Anglers can easily spend 5 days fishing in Southern Alberta including 2 days on The River then fishing for 3 days in .S.W. Alberta doing  a mix of walk and wades along with a float on The Oldman River Tailwater.
