Bow River Brown Trout

The Bow River has been fishing good. We are impressed with the amount of large Brown Trout that clients are catching. Streamer fishing has been good and depending on the day Caddis flies have been hatching resulting in some very good dry Fly fishing. Golden Stone Flies should also start make their appearance on The Bow River in and below Calgary.

Another Happy Client with a Bow River Brown Trout.

Overall the fishing has been good and will only improve as The Bow River stabilizes from runoff. Our Orvis Endorsed Bow River Fly-Fishing Guides are getting at it and are excited about The Bow River Fly-Fishing Season.
