Due to recent Monsoon rains and high snowpack the reports I am getting from my Guides up in Fernie B.C. is that the Elk River is blown out and will probably be until the end of the month. The same holds true for most of the Alberta rivers including The Bow. Needless to say I am hanging out in Craig Montana on The banks of The Missouri River where due to the Tailwater nature it won’t blowout and the fishing has been good. If you need a quick fish fix then head to The Missouri River . if you are looking to fish the Elk River ..your going to have to wait.
