Things are hopping here on The Missouri River.Drift Boat rigs from various places and lots of walk in traffic .The guides all seem to be rocking and I am getting a few trips in , last minute calls from various outfitters looking for a guide ..sometimes three calls in one day. It’s refreshing being the “new kid on the block ” I often start my day by joking with the clients by stating that they got the “short straw” and that this is my first time guiding in while ..partially true .We hit he river with anticipation of P.M.D.’s and Caddis .The Dry Fly Fishing has been technical ,however we go for it , the nymph fishing has been stellar and streamer fishing varies from day to day . I’m having a lot of fun getting people into fish, thats what guiding is all about ,that’s what draws fly-fishing peeps. to Montana’s Missouri River .
