Fish Skulls,Cross Cut Rabbit and Frantic Tails helped create this fly.

I am always on the look out for the newest or hottest trend and then give it a go.To years ago I picked up some Fish Skulls,messed around a bit then put them away.I re-visited them  this year.Creators of cool Fly-Tying goodies including Fish Skulls ,The Flymen Fishing Company has an excellent website with a lot of great videos showcasing some of the flies that have been tied and  how to use their products.

1st Fish Skull Fly that I tied with a White Frantic Tail,White Mink Collar and a Silver Fish Skull Head -Looks juicy.I will get even juicer

I am in the experimental around stage with Flymen Fly-Fishing Company products,but from what I am experiencing Fish Skulls are easier to work with than Cone Heads,come in a variety of sizes,they will push water and add weight.Given the color selection the heads will also create a trigger reaction from fish.Another product that caught my eye is their “Frantic tails” I think this will add a very realistic look to a Streamer,plus add some interesting action.

Sculpin Heads -Another great product from Flamen Flyfishing Company

I also purchased some Sculpin Heads which once  again will save time tying Sculpin patterns as they eliminate the need to shape a head with either Deer Hair or Wool and  they add  more weight.I am very excited about the possibilities using these products and I will keep you posted on my results.
