Yesterday I ventured out the a small river north of town.I have fished it before but to b honest I am not to familiar with it.This ti would be a Scouting -fishing combo by myself ..perfect.
I needed some space from the previous hectic week and whats coming up ,the lull in our activity could not have been timed better.The fishing was magic, I fished a small hopper pattern on my 4wt and had a blast.It was good to get out of drift boat and go for a walk .
The Cutts are decent sized and love dry flies as most Cutthroats do.On most of the B.C. Cutthroat rivers it’s a long walk between pools,this little river was know exception,I walked to and fished three pools then climbed out of a small canyon and completed phase two of my mission,scouting for more access.It was a day well spent.
