The Bad News:

Several Rivers or parts of  in Alberta  including The Bow River in Alberta are now closed to fishing because of high water temperatures.Click here for the “skinny’ on Alberta trout streams that are closed.Some Elk River Tributaries are also closed for the same reasons,Click Here to find out which ones.

The Good News: 

Fishing continues to be good on the Elk River and in Alberta Rivers’ that still remain open to fishing.Cool and wet weather is also in the forecast.The nights are also cooling down which in return will drop the water temperatures.We expect The Bow River to re-open soon.We have been diverting  our Bow River Clients to the Elk River and Fernie B.C.

We are looking forward to catching more of these bad boys once the Bow River re-opens.
