Despite warm temps the rivers are holding up well. The Elk River and Tribs continue to fish good,Terestrials are getting it done, hatches include Flavs,Nocturnal Stones, Caddis. The same hold true for the Saint Mary River.

Over in Alberta Hopper fishing is the norm,Anglers wanting to match the hatch can easily do so with foam Hoppers and other terrestrial patterns. We are also seeing (depending on the river ) hatches of Caddis,Tricos,Pink Alberts.

The Bow River continues to amaze Anglers with the off the charts Hopper fishing it’s that good.As air temperatures cool down watch for hatches of October Caddis and B.W.O’s Fall will be in the air sooner than later.
