Overall ,Fly-Fishing in Southern Alberta has been good. Warn days have got the Hoppers Active and now the rivers have dropped the Fish are starting to look up. Streamer fishing has also been good especially on the Bow River 

Fighting a Bow River Rainbow Trout

Rivers in S.W. Alberta are also fishing decent and the cooler temps will certainly help getting  the Trout happy. Flows have dropped so accessing Walk & wade Rivers is more than easy. Terrestrial fishing will become the norm as we move further into August . Streamer and Nymph fishing will also play an important role. Watch for hatches of Caddis, Flavs, Tricos and on some Rivers P.M.D’s .
