Normally late June into July is usually when the Bow River Streamer bite is on ! The fish are pushed up against the banks and are looking for things to eat. Last season experienced “high water ” well into August making for some epic streamer fishing for some large Brown Trout. The unexpected high water was due to several weather systems that dumped rain into the Bow River Drainage. While other rivers throughout the West here experiencing below normal flows we experienced the opposite. As we roll into the 2026 Season The snow pack is looking  good and once again I’m looking forward to watching Clients getting into some seriously big fish.
