It seems over the last 12 months I have been writing far to many tributes to my Dogs that die at an early age. Reba’s death comes as a shocker , she was fine up until last night then went downhill fast between then and this morning when I got her into the Vet. I was rushing up I-19 her from my vet in Nogales to an emergency clinic in Tucson when she died on the back seat of my truck, totally shitty . According to our Vet , her symptoms where conducive to eating rat or mouse poison which we don’t own.
Reba was a fine Dog , I picked her up in Idaho from a field trailer that thought she was a little to “clingy ” that was totally my gain .She was not the biggest running dog on the string but she had incredible “heart ” and gave it all she had in the field .This was her 4th season with us and over the last two years she really came into her own as a consistent producer ..everywhere we hunted .

I have many great memories of her especially from this past season as she truly began to shine .In the field she quick to suck up to clients for a pat or if tempted take a swipe at a sandwich. Around the house and yard she was also very easy to deal with ,she was always ‘ in” for our group training sessions as she new there was treats at the finish .At any rate she has crossed the rainbow bridge and is now in the land of 1000 bird coveys . She has been greeted by my 10 dogs that passed before her including her buddy Hilda. She will be romping ,barking and having a good old time . I will have some great memories to cherish until I meet up with her and the others again. We will miss our little Reba Roo ,I just wish our time together here on earth was longer .
Thanks To Dr.Roberto Rojas and his Staff at Companion Veterinary Clinic -Nogales Arizona .
